Installed on Windows 10 without a glitch, update on Linux Mint 21.1 still running (but that is because my Mint PC has only 4 Gb of memory .... so it takes a loooong time before the compiling resources and linking of Typhon is finished)

Install on Linux Mint 21.1 completed okay, I could start the IDE and restore previous layout and desktop.
But after installing a small extra package and choosing for rebuilding CodeTyphon I got this error:

Build IDE: Exit code 2, Errors: 2
Error: /usr/local/codetyphon/fpc/fpc64/bin/x86_64-linux/ppcx64 can't be executed, error message: Failed to execute "/usr/local/codetyphon/fpc/fpc64/bin/x86_64-linux/ppcx64", error code: -9
make[2]: *** [Makefile:5026: typhon] Error 1
make[1]: *** [Makefile:5456: ide] Error 2
Error: make: *** [Makefile:3844: ide] Error 2

What is error code -9?

@Jan Roza
As a workaround you can fix this by increasing swap.

Hello everyone,

I'm looking at the new version of Codetyphoon.
On Linux 64 and Windows10 64 it works without any problems.
Is it possible that CT8.1 can no longer used with Win7_32?

When I try to start 'C:\codetyphon\typhon\bin32\typhonstart.exe' I get the message:
"The procedure entry point "CoWaitForMultipleObjects" was not found in the DLL "ole32.dll"."

The ole32.dll is in the System32 folder, but of course it is an older version from 2015.

Yes you can Disable CodeTyphon "Multi-Architecture" Mode.
For Windows this is Enabled by default.

For your info
in our LAB Win10 and Win11 "Multi-Architecture" Mode works without problems.

Did you install System Libraries ?

It seems that CT8.1 no longer runs on Win7.
I have now tested it on Win7_32 and Win7_64 and there is always
the error with the entry point at "ole32.dll".

On Windows_10_64 everything runs without any problem.
Too bad, it's about time to say goodbye to Win 7.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks again Sternas, building SmallIDE and adding the packages needed did the job!
I discover new possibilities each day with Typhon. :-))

Here is one application made with CodeTyphon on a Raspberry in the winch of my gliding club.
It displays buttons for every known/used glider type, after touching the wanted button the correct winching speed settings for the selected glider type is displayed.
At the top of the screen the current wind speed and direction (head or tail wind) is set.
Just a small but very practical use of a program made with CodeTyphon.

We don't use WinXP as Host OS anymore in our LAB.
Please, don't forget,
Windows XP support has ended

We just "follow the river"

Yes

just install pl_Win_DarkStyle package

After pkg installation, look at TyphonIDE - Setting - Dark Style

for more options.

Thank's. It works fine. But there is a small problem with caption text on glass docking options form. The problem is only in the dark style.
