I'm a old experimented users on Delphi, I've started on Delphi 1. Now I'm coding/developing with CT.

With my use of this tool, I've experimented the using of GpProfile (17slon.com/gp/gpprofile / code.google.com/p/gpprofile2011/). A profiling tool for Delphi how could be use with CT. But just on Windows because it's not ported for Linux compatibility.

I would build a new community on GitHub for this tool, to make Linux compatibility, maybe OSX, new features and others.

I've boosted the project gpProfile in the form of a fork with the objective to purpose an Open source solution working as well on CodeTyphon, Delphi and Lazarus.
Named opProfiler for Open Pascal Profiler, the idea is to purpose a tool of optimization of code for Pascal Object developers.

The volunteers (developers, testers, translators) are welcome, because there is lots work...

At the moment, I began code conversion... Will needed safe to make level the set, because gpProfile is not any more maintained since a few years.

The repository is here: https: //github.com/Libaud/opprofiler. I would load as soon as possible the converted sources. Knowing that I recommend to use CodeTyphon for the development.

Have you progressed on opProfile? I'm using gpProfile on windows, but would find it very useful on Linux too.
I would have some time to test opProfile if you need help.
