- Nginx: change root folders don't work. Folders never really change.
- Some unused elements can be successfully erased, but others leave unwanted remains.

- MySQL versions after 8.0.18 don't work: "Failed to find valid data directory. Data Dictionary initialization failed. Aborting"
    - Tested versions: 
        - 8.0.19 (don't works)
        - 8.0.20 (don't works)
        - 8.0.24 (don't works)
        - 8.0.25 (don't works: crash. failed to execute: 193)
        
- The option "Start-up pages/Display page1 at start-up" cannot be disabled via GUI, just by editing the configuration file (Apache and Nginx).

******  (I think that UWS being modular is a virtue. So, I usually delete "almost" everything I don't use. Even because I can reinstall if I need to. This aspect for me is the UWS differential.)

Please one question, the problem with MySQL 8.xx is using CodeTyphon ?

***** (No. The problem is, the folder "data" isn't with correct and upgraded files like 8.0.18 is. My solution for to use 8.0.20 was: i deleted data from 8.o.20, copied data from 8.0.18 to 8.0.20. So, the mysql upgraded the files for me )

 

The correct way to update data to MySQL 8.xx is to Import / Export SQL via PHPMyAdmin or other database tool.
Copy files to UltraWebServer\core\mysql80\data\ directory do not work.

MySQL 8.xx has auto data update procedure, so mysql_upgrade.exe don't work as previous MySQL 5.x  versions.

Sorry, but it seems like you don't understand what I'm saying. MySQL above 8.0.18, does not work. Does not start.
Simply download and click to start version 8.0.20, for example (zero databases imported). Does not start.

I never mentioned version 5.x. I copied the "data" folder from 8.0.18 to 8.0.20 to fix the package that doesn't work.

Steps:

1 - extract UltraWebServer.7z
2 - Start application / Elements manager / Download and install MySQL 8.0.25
3 - Switch to MySQL 8.0 on interface and click to start MySQL

My suggestion is to reinstall UWS to you PC again

Clean install (as before). Same result: the button remains green, but the executable process is gone.

OK we find the problem give us time to fix Server elements

We FIX and re-upload to our Servers:
