Hi,
here it is (same type of problem): B)

CodeTyphon 9.10 on ubuntu jaunty jackalope
i drag a TIdConnectionIntercept component in the form and when double click on the event OnReceive i got (translated from french)
unit1.pas(8,29) Error: Source of unit /usr/lib/lazarus/components/pl_Indy/lib/i386-linux/IdIntercept.ppu not found.

Result of locate command:

Axoltl@Axoltl-Box:~$ locate IdIntercept.ppu/usr/lib/lazarus/components/pl_Indy/lib/i386-linux/IdIntercept.ppu

/usr/lib/lazarus/components/pl_Indy/lib/i386-linux/IdIntercept.ppu

I think it's the same kind of problem.
Thank you for reading.
Keep this good work alive, we need it. :)

Hello,
I have a problem.
Found some similar topics but no resolution solve my problem.
I'm running on Suse Enterprise 11.2 and 11.3. I have installed Typhon IDE 4.8 x86_64-linux-gtk 2.
When I try to add from "Indy Servers - Core" the TIdTCPServer into "Form 1" an empty window appears and IDE terminates.
IDE terminates with following Message on Konsole:
"CurComponent=IdTCPServer1:TIdTCPServer
TApplication.HandleException Access violation
Stack trace
:..." .
Look exactly similar to this TOPIC and also to: "Problem Ubuntu 10.04 64Bits / Codetyphon 3.10"
I tryed to use the fix in the Answer ".. after you open package Indy do compile and install, to rebuilt lazarus IDE, you can drop Indy Server Protocols without any problem..."
But it doesn't help. I can't work with TIdTCPServer.
Does Indy Server Package have problems with 64-architecture? Is there a work around to work with??
Pease help !!!
Thank you in adwance !
Regards Hans.

Sir,
we prepare a sample of TIdTCPServer use
TIdTCPServer request OnExecute event in any OS.
So, drop to a form and run, don't work,
please wait for our sample-demo

Our demo-suggestion for a TIdTCPServer project
CT Lab 4.90, pl_Indy (22-5-2014 SVN trunk Rev 5139)

and some screens from Typhon64 and Typhon32 on Fedora 20 64bits, with MATE and MultiArch

Thank you for the quick answer.

I'm not sure, but I think my issue is slight different.
I have two variants:
1. A simple Test :
Just to put the Server-Icon of the Package into the Form1. Just to see the parameters in Objectinspector.
That mean I do not try to run the server.
I just only try to insert the Ikon: "orange/yellow Flash + TCP" into the Form and the IDE crashes.

2. Variant:
This problem causes me to run the test mentioned above.
I have an old code compiling, linking and running as expected.
There Indy Server TIdTCPServer is used for communication.
BUT when I click onto this implemented server (Ikon in the Form) to change some values in the Objektinspector
a empty window "Lazarus64s IDE v4.8 - ...." appears
on the shel where I started typhonstart64 appears:
TApplication.HandleException Access violation
Stack Trace:
$000000000000077BC20
.....

When I close this window following output appears:
TCustomFormEditor.JITListException List.CurReadStreamClass=nil nil

And another empty window appear: "Readerror" (Lesefehler)
and after closing this window all typhon windows collapses and on shell appears:
[TMainIDE.Destroy]A
WARNING: TLCLComponent.Destroy with LCLRefCont>0. Hint:Maybe the component is processsing an event?
[TJITComponentList.DestroyJITComponent] ERROR destroying component Error: Access violation
Stack Trace:
.......
TCustomFormEditor.JITListException List.CurReadStreamClass=nil nil
................

I think it's an IDE with Indy package problem.

Do you have an idea, what's going wrong?

Greetings Hans

Additional note (Added!!):
I installed CodeTyphon on a Suse Enterprise 11.1 32Bit system.
In this environment both Issues mentioned above work pretty fine.

Unfortunately this is a verry verry slow machine. :(

Hi,
a question to the development team:

Due to the fact, that I have this problem on a 64-bit machine.
But not with an 32-bit machine I suspect that the issue is located in the Indy package.
Can you confirm this guess?

Is there a chance for me to fix this problem by myselve ???

If not, is there a chance that the problem is fixed by the development team in near future??

I 'll be obliged for a quick answer.

Regards
Hans
