Picked up my first Mac last week. Serviced them for years at my old job.
Got the i7 Mac Mini with 16gb of mem. Neat little machine. Always liked them
when I worked on em.

Been playing around with XCode but man, their whole design of MVC is
clunky. Feels like I need a LCD that is at least a minimum of 2560x1600
to get everything on the screen at once.

I'm also interested in Mac development. Is it possible to run CT on Mac OS X, or is it not yet ready?

Since Mac's hardware is 99% a plain PC hardware - consider building a Hackintosh, it's quite easy nowadays and for the price of basic Mac you can build very powerful Hackintosh.
I'm using Hackintosh for more than 2 years as my main developer rig.
