Some of my projects use Synapse and I notice that trying to compile those projects in Linux Mint 22.3 I get errors that prevent compilation (see screenshot).
Suddenly objects are not found.
Has there been some changes in Synapse since the last version or am I overlooking something?

I know it is in blcksock.pas, but why isn't it found when compiling?
I work with the big IDE with all components in the IDE and until a short time ago this project compiled without errors.
I did an experiment by removing pl_synapse from the project and including the synapse sources directly in my project and when doing a cleanup and build of the project compilation did succeed without errors.
So I am still at a loss what is wrong with pl_synapse when i include the component in my project.

We test pl_synapse pkg on Win and Linux without problem.
Any info for your project for our tests ?

I tried some more and reinstalled CodeTyphon via a fresh download, but same result.
One thing I did notice is that only Typhon64 was installed together with fpc64 and no fpc32, is this normal? Why no option to install 64-bit and 32-bit Typhon? In Windows even on a 64-bit system both versions are installed, which would suite me fine in Linux Mint as well.
I tried to install fpc32 via CodeTyphon Center but there is no fpc32 install there.
Maybe I should leave this problem alone until the next Typhon version (in the hope there crossbuilding will work again there).

My friend,
we test pl_synapse 8.91 pkg without problem.

----

CodeTyphon "MultiArch" (32 and 64 Bits) is default on Ms Windows.

Some Linux distributions support "MultiArch" (32 and 64 Bits), NOT all.
On these distributions, before building, you must select "MultiArch" in CTCenter and then you must install "System Libraries" for "MultiArch" target platform.

Our LAB primary Linux distribution Fedora 43 support "MultiArch" for GTK2, GTK3, QT4, QT5 and QT6.

LinuxMint, (Debian/Ubuntu based) support  "MultiArch" for GTK2, GTK3, QT4 and QT5.

----

Linux is on fire now.
Many BIG distributions will NOT survive in next 2 years.

I will uninstall and try the multiarch route.
Never a dull moment, I learn new things everyday (especially using Linux).
Thanks for showing me the way.

Following your advise I was able to install both 32-bit and 64-bit IDE's.
I thought I knew CT well but every now and then it surprises me again, always nice to start a new adventure.
Thanks for showing me the way again!
