Installed CTC latest version on UBUNTO
Most of the scripts are started but never completed the execution.
Strange effect observed : during OS shut down I see sudo request for user password input

Please gives us more Info

1) Did you give "sudo" root privileges to installation user?
2) Did you install "System Libraries" ?
3) Your PC RAM etc. ?


For Ubuntu you can read:

a) did "username ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL" in sudo config , also followed instructions here : askubuntu.com/questions/91598/how-do-i-login-as-root
b) done during CTC setup , can use CTC IDE ... did some simple tests under LINUX/UBUNTU
c) 3 GBYTE RAM using VM ware , host is WIN 7 x64

"username" is the login name to your OS

"login-name ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL"

To build Build-IDE 64bit you want RAM >=6Gbytes
To build Build-IDE 32bit you want RAM >=2Gbytes

To build Small-IDE 32 or 64bit you want RAM >=0.5Gbytes
