Hi,

When I need to rebuild IDE or just installed new package, Lazarus should restart as always. This worked on 2.80 and 2.90. But on 3.00 Lazarus disappear after compile and nothing happens and list of processes is full of zombie "startlazarus" (counts depends on how many "restart" should occur). See attached screenshot, column memory (value "Nie dotyczy") from polish means "not applicable". I even can't kill those processes, they disappear when I close CT Center.

I'm using Linux Mint 13, Mate (fork of GNOME 2.XX) 64 bit. Please note that I'm using this distro from a ~2-3 months, so I'm not sure that this issue not occured on 2.90 (maybe sometimes but on 3.00 always), but on 2.80 worked perfect (I used original Ubuntu 12.04 then)

I'm doing that, I just wanted report that automatic restart stopped working

Have you tried option(IDE Settings Restore Defaults) from CT Center?, I have something similar happened with CT 3 on Win7, only shows the properties window and code, and the process in the taskbar does not appear.

I confirm this issue in CT 3.10 also on Linux Mint Cinnamon. But now I finally found my favourite mint edition (XFCE) and here everything works. I don't know if this depends on graphic enviromnent or I have different CT configuration than on Cinnamon or Mate
