Hello,
in the version 2.10 there seems to be a bug or feature?
Lazarus does not restore the positions of the editor-windows. It restores the size, but not the position. Under windows 7 it does it correct.
But not under Ubuntu 10.10. In the file "environmentoptions.xml" the <CustomPosition ..... > seems to fit, but when I restart Lazarus, the positions of the windos are different.
And what is the pl_ExtentIDEcfg.xml ?
In this file the missfitted windows are listed.

I use Ubuntu 10.10 in a VM (virtual Box from oracle.) Screen Size 1920 x 1200 pixels.
In the Version 1.80 everything went well.

Any advice?

The problem is in Lazarus new Abilities...(SVN)
But we will check this

pl_ExtentIDEcfg.xml is an old file...
