Hi to all.

The last days i am developing a small utility that has to communicate with TCP.
I have the latest CodeTyphon and i have tried both LNet and VisualSynapse. I finally
stick with VS since the application starts faster. But i came accross a MINOR problem.

The event procedures of the component have a parameter Handle of type Integer. When
i try to compile the program i get the following error(s):

unit1.pas(35,53) Error: Duplicate identifier "Handle"
unit1.pas(35,53) Hint: Identifier already defined in unit CONTROLS at line 1887
unit1.pas(50,1) Fatal: There were 1 errors compiling module, stopping

to bypass the problem i SIMPLY changed the parameter name from Handle to nHandle in both
the declaration and implementation sections.

Even if this is a really minor problem i would like to ask if it is possible to correct it
in the next release.

I totally agree with you that in a "community" project the community must be active and helpful.

So i have attached the changed vsVisualSynapse.pas file in this post.
I have tested and it is ok. I have also rebuild ALL my CodeTyphon installation from the begging to make sure
everything works.

The original location of the vsVisualSynapse.pas is:
C:\CodeTyphon\binMOD\lazarus\components\pl_SynapseVS\source

The location of that file in the lazarus directory is:
C:\lazarus\components\pl_SynapseVS\source

Sir Sternas i am attaching the changed vsVisualSynapse.pas in this post again because the last time i DID NOT read
carefully what file types we are able to attach to the forum and in CT 1.60 i still have the same problem.

I have added the extention of ".txt" to the file in order too be attachable
I hope to be available in the next release of Code Typhon.

...and YES! i am having fun with CT!
