Hi,
On Mint with previous release or the actual there's a bug when we want compile FPC or Typhon after install and run CodeTyphon Center in root. Because we need to run the script in root. If not it doesn't work because, we need the good right to deploy base files on system.
A way to resolve is to run the script to install CodeTyphon Center then exit in root. Next call with the command line CodeTyphon Center in root. And it's work to build FPC, Typhon and others.

We test the latest LinuxMint 21.1

For your info LinuxMint, Debian and Ubuntu distributions, are use OLD Libraries.

Our LAB reference now, are Fedora and ArchLinux
with Linux Kernel 6.x and the latest Linux packages.

Run CodeTyphon install and setup script as "root" it's NOT the correct way.

We use this procedure

Some screens to help you

in a terminal
sudo nano /etc/sudoers

add at last line:
USERNAME    ALL=(ALL:ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL

TyphonIDE for GTK2 MultiArch

For QT5 and QT6 we must wait LinuxMint to update all QTX libraries to newest versions.
