On my machine I can't install CTC - ver. 7.8 and 7.7. Version 7.6 installs. In any case, the IDE installs.

Error message:

sysadm@dell:~$/usr/bin/codetyphon

It's NOT native CodeTyphon Problem.

Old Linux GLIBC_2.33 it's NOT compatible with new GLIBC 2.34-2.35

We build CodeTyphon and CTCenter on latest Fedora Linux and has GLIBC > 2.33.

Hello:

>  Desktop: Cinnamon 5.2.7 wm: muffin dm: LightDM

What a strange choice you did: Cinnamon and muffin are hyper buggy (even dangerous for hardware) and core developers dont want to fix it because of "design" decision:
github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon/issues/764...suecomment-396336902

I am not surprised that you have problems with it.

[sysadm@dell ~]$ codetyphonTried installing on Ubuntu 22LTS and Fedora 36. Ubuntu CT installed OK, but distribution has snap issues. On Fedora, the snap works, but the shortcut to CTC does not appear. Running CTC in a terminal calls CTC but I get the error [sysadm @ dell ~] $ codetyphon
Gtk-Message: 10: 14: 10.526: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module".
I will try to install Rocky Linux and SUSE. Reason - Quartus II installation from Intel.
