Remove any
freepascal and lazarus installations
and give us more info:
Did you run install CT as Admin ?
Did you follow the installation procedure ? more info here

I do have lazarus installed, so I'll remove it.

I tried to run CT as Admin, but it kept saying that I was not the Admin. So I took
out the code in the install.bat and setup.bat that checked that and it ran to where you see the error.

I'll followed the instructions at the link and will try again.

Only Admin Group user can install CodeTyphon

Well, I don't know what is wrong. I am the only one who logs into this machine, the only one in the Admin group, and the machine shows that I am the Admin.

OK. Got around the 'NOT Admin' error. There was a windows service that had been disabled on my system that was needed for the 'Run as Administration' right click to work correctly. So I right clicked on the install.bat and it went to the install screen. Selected 0 and hit enter. After all the install diagnostics, I still end up with this:

Yes, your right. I installed 6.90 on another similar Dell I have last night and it installed ok. So something peculiar with my main machine. Some of the supposed unnecessary services have been disabled on my main machine and I suspect that is causing the problem. Thanks for your help.

Success on my main machine! Not sure which services I re-enabled that were causing the problem.
