Hello, I've been running Lazarus for a few months and have just upgraded to v1.8.0 RC3. Can I install CodeTyphon alongside Lazarus, and is there any interaction between them? In other words, if I install CodeTyphon, is there any risk of my Lazarus setup being altered in any way? This is on the Apple Mac 10.12.5 Sierra, by the way. Thanks, Carl.

I'm perfectly aware that they are not the same projects. If the tone of that reply is typical of the manners shown in the CodeTyphon community then quite frankly I don't want to know. Well done! Marketing and basic customer relations is not your strong point, is it?

Yeah, both CodeTyphon and Lazarus have their own folders, so they can coexist on the same PC.

BUT this is an open source project, just like Lazarus, so the authors don't have to advertise themselves, there is no marketing, and they don't have to thank you for downloading their tools for free - YOU have to be grateful to be able to download them for free!
