Hi,

I tried to update my CT 5.90 to 6.00 and I got a message error :
"Windows does not find ..\fpc\fpc32\bin\x86_32-win32\make.exe. Check that you entered the correct name and retry"

I got an identical message for the x86_64-win64 installation.

My system is win 10 family 64 bits.
I ran the install.bat as administrator



Any idea ?

1) ouvre une boite de commande en mode administrateur

2) cd \codetyponins [entree]

3) install.bat [entree]

4) 2 [entree]

attends que tout soit désinstaller

5) telecharge et installle CT 6

J'ai essayé ta procédure.
Effectivement l'ancienne installation est effacées mais lors de l'installation de CT 6.00, l'écran de commande montre les erreurs suivantes:

************************************************
Build FreePascal 32bit
================================================
[INFO]; FPC32 Source Files NOT EXIST !!!

Je me demande si le fichier codetyphonins.zip n'est pas endommagé sur le site de Pilot Logic

after doing what I said in preceding comment do as follow

run your archiver with admin rigts to unzip codetyphonins

then AGAIN

open a command box with admin rights

cd \codetyphonins

install.bat

install all

I proceeded like recommended and checked the integrity of the codetyphonins.zip file but I still have the error shown above. It appears that the installation script cannot copy or install the make.exe (32 & 64 bits) of the FPC.
Did you succeed to install CT 6 on windows ?

Installation on Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) works well.
I think that only the win script has a bug

Hi,

I solved the installation issue on Win 10 by re-installing the DirectX run-time libraries. It is quite surprising as the previous version (CT 5.90) worked pretty well without updating the DirectX files.
So everything is ok now (CT 6.0 succesfully installed on Win 10 and Kubuntu 16.04).
