Windows 8.1 CT 5.4 / 5.5

I am unable to install Typhon when GIT is also installed on my pc !
CT installs FPC fine.
If I rename the GIT directory or remove it from the path, all goes well !

Any ideas ?

CT don't add anything to your windows "path",
CT work only in your :
C:\codetyphon directory and
C:\Users\#User#\AppData\Roaming\typhon32
C:\Users\#User#\AppData\Roaming\typhon64

My suggestion is to remove any GIT "path" or
use other GIT client

I was just wondering what the install of Typhon picks up from the Windows path that is needed by CT !

For the record, I am including the files from the GIT binary directory, so you can see for yourself what exe could be picked up by CT.

You can go to
C:\codetyphon\fpc\fpc32\bin\i386-win32 and
C:\codetyphon\fpc\fpc64\bin\x86_64-win64

are some common gcc files used by make.exe
mv.exe
cp.exe
etc

Lots of files in common !
Wouldn't it be better for CT to use its own custom absolute paths for installation ?
Or run it in it's own environment ?

Many people will have all kind of tools installed on their system.
It would be good if CT does not pick them up ?!

ps:
I had official fpc 2.6.4 installed on my system.
A path was added automagically.
CT used this compiler to build its own FPC.
