I was unable to install customdrawn package and also my own package (which depends on customdrawn package).
Usually (with prior version of CT) customdrawn is available when you install CT.
Customdrawn and my package are marked as selected for installation but not installed. When I try to install I get the same result:
marked for installation but not installed
My platform is Win7-32 and Win7-64 with same result

Any idea what is going on. This is the specific for then first time with this version (4.8) of CT.
Any prior version passed installation of my package without problem

I found the problem.
I was not aware of hanging Typhon32.exe in background.
When package is installed, it is first marked for installation, then after you restart Typhon, strip process is executed which writes new version of Typhon.exe.
Strip was not able to write new version because some old process of Typhon was not exited successfully and it is still hanging in memory

I reproduced the problem again for CT 4.8. Seems to me that this is some kind of bug.
If you try to install new package, CT is recompiled. After recompilation CT try to restart itself but it can not find StartLazarus.exe
After that you package is marked for installation next time you start CT, but this never happen.
Only way to install package is to run CodeTyphon (not Typhon) and start Typhon IDE from there.
CT manager then start strip.exe which fix the problem
