Running Remove and Build All in CT Center, installation fails on Windows 7, 64-bit. The following is an extract from the CommandBox tab.

Target OS: Win64 for x64
Compiling fcllaz.pas
Fatal: Can't find unit system used by fcllaz
Fatal: Compilation aborted
make[1]: *** [fcllaz.ppu] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `C:/codetyphon/lazarus/packager/registration'
make: *** [Registration] Error 2

I have tried running setup.bat from an elevated command prompt but it also fails. I can't tell what error messages are returned as the batch file exits and closes my command prompt. Please can you change this, as it makes it impossible to tell what errors have occured. Anyway, if a user opens a command prompt, it really should not be closed until the user chooses to close it. If you need the batch file to exit automatically under certain circumstances, then you could possibly set and subsequently test an environment variable to see if EXIT should be executed or not.

Seeing as I've had no response, I thought I'd dig around a little more. It appears that FP's make has problems. I've tried updating make.exe to the latest version of mingw make, but the problem persists. This happens when the 32-bit compiler is being built.

Attempting to build Freepascal 64-bit brings up a dialog informing me of a missing dependency for make.exe - libintl-8.dll

Digging a bit deeper, I have found that the version of make used has problems if the PATH variable contains round brackets (). Temporarily removing anything in the path that contains round brackets allowed the FPC/Lazarus build to proceed. I suspect that the problem with the round brackets in the PATH variable will cause Lazarus to fail to make projects though.

When i try to install CT 4.3 on Windows 7 64 bit
after start.bat and Clean and Build all , i found error in
batch scripts running make with error 255 .
In CodeTyphon Center after 'FPC Extract source' and 'FPC build Compiler'
showing strange error in make some error 255.
I tried with removing braces as from previous post but no luck.
After some researching i found possible solution
downloading new make.exe for both 32 and 64 bit from 'www.equation.com/servlet/equation.cmd?fa=make' and copy them
in C:\codetyphon\fpc\bin\i386-win32\ and C:\codetyphon\fpc\bin\x86_64-win64\ accordingly.
I think this is easy fixable bug but was very annoying and should be resolved in next upgrade.

Building CT 4.3 on Win 7 64 bit and Win XP 32 bit.
Again i have difficulties with building Typhoon Small IDE 32 bit, but also other builds.
FPC is building fine but error with fcllaz.ppu breaks process when i try 'Typhon32 Build Small IDE'.
This is same error and breaks on two computers Win 7 64 bit , and Win XP sp3.
All two machines had Lazarus installed before but everything is removed , folders, registry and path variables.
if I'm wrong on something suggestions are welcome ...

Finally problem SOLVED :woohoo:
I found
sh: C:\Program: No such file or directory
in log , so this shows that something is going to C:\program files\ folder.
I had Git installed in 'C:\program files\git' and found in environment path
variable 'C:\Program Files\Git\bin' and also some exe files needed by compiler
executed from Git folder. I simply renamed 'Git' folder to example 'Git-old' and
now i have Typhon32 for Win32 ready.
I think we need some good PATH strings to put in OS Environment path variables but
i am not sure which folders and paths for CodeTyphon , and also what happens when we have two different path variables with same exe files inside.

This is a problem for all Win platforms, if you have something in path that overrides CT's commands as sh, cp ... installation will fail. For me problematic commands were from Gow (Gnu on Windows). Solution is simply to delete this paths from environment variable. You can return it after installation, for me ls,tail, grep are indispensable.
And in the future perhaps CT could have absolute paths to commands?

Sir, in FPC build procedure cp.exe don't have the Permission to copy/move files
did you have administrator Permissions in your PC ?
please read more here

C:/codetyphon/fpcsrc/compiler/ppc2.exe and C:/codetyphon/fpcsrc/compiler/ppc3.exe are equal
C:/codetyphon/fpc/bin/x86_64-win64/cp.exe -fp C:/codetyphon/fpcsrc/compiler/ppc3.exe ppcx64.exe
cp.exe: cannot remove old link to `ppcx64.exe': Permission denied
