Hi everyone, this is my first post

I'm newbie in CodeTyphon. I'm very impressed with cross-compile solution, it is so easy now (I always used virtualbox mashine with Lazarus installation for this system). I have few question:

1. Lazarus and FPC are from SVN. How stable are those revisions? I mean, are they tested for a while or just updated from trunk and included in instalator in this same day?
2. Updating source of controls looks easy and the same like in normal Lazarus, but how to update source of Lazarus and FPC? Can I just delete directory /usr/lib/codetyphon/lazarus and copy my Lazarus SVN trunk? With FPC I can do this same? Because I don't know if FPC SVN trunk has everything for cross-compiling.

Sir
both Lazarus and FPC in CodeTyphon have modifications

folder codetyphon\bin\src
svn files
fpc_src.zip
lazarus_src.zip

modifications files
fpc_mod_src.zip
lazarus_mod_src.zip

replace Lazarus or FPC with svn it's not good idea.

Hi dibo and welcome to CT fourms!

Why should you need to replace the Lazarus and FreePascal versions of CT Studio with other SVN versions? Do you just try to get familiar
with the Lazarus / FreePascal architecture or you want to try some self made components / code? Found some bug in CT Studio and trying to
fixit by reverting the source code to another version?

As sir Sternas pointed out CT Studio has a lot of modifications from the original source of both Lazarus and FreePascal and as such the best
way to find your way through possible problems with CT Studio (even in the case of the pre-mentioned problems above) is to start a discussion
here, in the CT Forums.

So, i will end my message with sir Sternas's moto for CT Studio: "Have Fun"!
...and for everything you need make a post in the forums!

Thanks for replies.

Why should you need to replace the Lazarus and FreePascal versions of CT Studio with other SVN versions?

Because I sometimes post bugs in Lazarus bugtracker and sometimes patches too. How often new versions of CT are published?
