I just installed CodeTyphon 2.50
I am planning to do something with data bases and therefore I need reporting.
I decide to give chance to lazreport.
Sucessfully compiled example at c:\codetyphon\lazarus\components\lazreport\samples\stringgrid
Then I tryed next example, c:\codetyphon\lazarus\components\lazreport\samples\editor
and I realised that package lazreportpdfexport need to be installed.
Tryed to install it but I couldn't. It says that package pack_powerpdf is not installed, but I can see it in components.
Problem is that lazreportpdfexport wants package pack_powerpdf and installed PoverPDF package is named pl_powerpdf.
Just changed line <PackageName Value="pack_powerpdf"/> in
c:\codetyphon\lazarus\components\lazreport\source\addons\pdfexport\lazreportpdfexport.lpk
to <PackageName Value="pl_powerpdf"/> and I was able to install package and compile my example.
Works like charm.
Hope that this post will save some time to somebody.

Unfortunatelly, I can confirm that exactly the same bug exists in CT 2.60
