Hi, I installed the 1.80 version of codeTyphon. The installation seems gone ok, but when I start the lazarus ide the only visible action is a window named progression that is locked (if want close must force the application exit), and nothing else.

I installed on ubuntu 10.10 32

Please help, because I am new to CodeTyphon and newbie for lazarus.

CodeTyphon/ScriptsLin/
"ln1_Install_SysLibraries_For_Ubuntu.sh"
to install Linux libraries for Ubuntu?

Yes I have done it, but launching under my home directory
with sudo codetyphon/ScriptsLin/ln1_Install_SysLibraries_For_Ubuntu.sh said that could't find a directory, so I launched it in the codethyphon directory. Apparently the installation worked fine. Could be this the problem?

Hello.
In my case I needed lazarus config dir-s to be created. Maybe you've delete those?
For proper install I've done what I've wrote in the last post in the topic I've just refered to. (so many "I've"s )
Maybe that'll work for you too?
You don't need to reinstall that folder, just create it.

No, I have only created the directory codetyphon and then launched the installation scripts in the same order that you say. But I will check if the config directory exists.

Hi, I choosed to remove and rebuid all with option 7 of the setup script, and semms that is working.

Hi,

I'm running CodeTyphon on Ubuntu 32 and Kubuntu 64, both version 11.04.

The first time I run Lazarus after install I have to use sudo, not sure why. But then I'm not stuck at the progress bar, and can start Lazarus directly or via CodeTyphon.
