Hello,

May be there is some way to do that, but I do not find it. I like to rearrange somewhat the IDE from the default layout, including the component palette. But when an update arrives, the iDE is fully rebuild and these customizing changes are lost. Is there a way to make the layout persistent? If not, it would be a welcome addition.

OK, thanks a lot.
I would suggest to add the palette saving/restore instructions to the desktop wiki.
I would also suggest (for sometime in the future) to make this automatic, such as a preferences folder preserved during erase/rebuild of the IDE. Just because of laziness...

we try to find a solution,
but, at this time we make some changes to the CT configurations files...

Backup and restore files in the user configuration directory don't work correct

It's in our "TO-DO" list,
CodeTyphon it's a BIG and very complex project,
please give us time. :)
