Dennis,
In the menubar at the top of the IDE go to 'Settings' and choose the first sub-choice 'Options' .
In the window that appears go to 'Environment' - 'Component Palette'.
At the top of the Window there is a checkbox 'Palette is visible', make sure this is checked.

It happened to me and the only way I could get it back was to reload the default desktop and re-dock all the windows. The problem occurred for me when I changed the setting to hide the IDE before compiling and running the project. When the IDE opens after you close your application it has no toolbar or components. Will remove ALL old TyphonIDE Settings and copy "Default TyphonIDE Settings" Please, post any screen of the problem to help us.
