Hello,

these days I'm trying to compile many program for different architecture/so in different version of codetyphon for my applications write in CT; well I'm report bugs in forum, but
I find this mechanism a bit fragmented;

then why not implement a bug tracker (mantis, bugzilla), where they can be divided by CT version and operating system;

thanks in advance

Sir, It's very simple:

a) We have one LAB with 3 core programmers to Develop and Extend CT,
so, no time to maintenance a bug tracker system from these people now.

b) We have 10 "External" programmers, they use CT on software production line for our External Projects.
These programmers are Pascal OLD DOGs.
Their reports for CT are critical for our LAB with priority A.

c) Pure reports quality from CT users,
--they don't post event to the correct forum category,
--they don't post event the basics (OS, CPU, Platform etc).

Finally ,Bug Tracker is "Nice to Have" for us, but (at this CT stage) It's NOT "Must to Have"

Please, your suggestions

Sir, one suggestion:

If I go in CT menu "help" to "report a bug" then a website for this forum opens up.

Probably many users dont know how to quickly get the accurate OS and CT version.
Its easy:

Goto "help-->About Codetyphon". Then click right on the popup Window and you get the option to copy OS and CT version to clipboard.
Example: Typhon 6.9 r61812 FPC 3.3.1 r42912 Platform : x86_64-win64-win32/win64

Many users dont know this and I did not know, before I discovered it by accident.

So, the menu "report a bug" should not directly open the forum website.
It should open a message box, that opts to copy the version information to the clipboard before opening the website.

Possibly this helps a litte bit. :)
