I am totally newbie to CodeTypohon. I have installed it en Ubuntu 14.04 and on Virtualbox with the same OS.It seems that CT can't comunicate correctly with my drives. Just as CT starts I pressed F9 to run the program. It works fine and show an emtpy form. After that i "Save all" and pressed F9 again. Now I get following Error:
===============================================================
The launching application ""/media/alf/Elements/LazarusProject/blaj/project1""
does not exist or is not executable.

See Run -> Run parameters -> Local
===============================================================

If I try to save in my home directory I get this:
===============================================================
Access violation.

Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Cancel to kill the program.
==============================================================
Thanks for helping

Thanks for answer!
My OS is 32 bit Ubuntu 14.04
CT is 5.6 (downloaded yesterday)

I did my test with an emty form just as CT started without any changes done by me.

I have the same problems with Lazarus 1.4.4. I have used Lazarus 0.9? without problems.

If I unstained correctly:
you start empty project with CT 5.60 on Ubuntu 14.04-32bits
and you can't save this project ?
or you try to save lazarus projects from CT with problem ?

I beg you pardon for my bad english!

1. I start a new project in CT and run it using F9
2. I saved the project to an external USB-drive without doing any changes to th project.
3. After step 2 I tried to run the project again but get the error message I give in my the first post.
4. The message about "Access Violation" I get when I tried to save to my home directory.

The same problems as above I also have with Lazarus. Because of that I want to try CT!

Thanks

Sir
my opinion: this is OS permissions problems to USB.
My suggestions is, not use on "Unix" USB drivers as working storage,
as you can on windows.
