You may found my post a silly one , but I really like the IDE and thus it deserves a better splash , I just made one as I'm fan of logarithmic spirals, I'm not a graphic designer, but I just ask if there is some users in the forum that could make for the team some art work. Thanks

Hello, please find attached svg source files (created with inkscape) , and here some screen shots.

Please try to make logo looks a little less like a snail house. Snail is a synonym for being slow. Logo is nice, but I do not like the association with something slow.

Thanks for your point, I've just modified to look like a cyclone, how do you find it?
If it's good enough I'll change the splash and submit new svg, any other remarks are welcome.

And here another one to keep the spiral aspect, as the cyclone should be spiral

... but I like the current spiral from 4.6 somehow ...

Well, we didn't change anything it's just a suggestion/discussion for a new splash screen and finally it's up to PilotLogic whether to change or to keep, at the end I just wanted to give the idea of splash design, and svg files are to be edited such as putting the original spiral. Thank you all

First one (#4826) will be "okay" for mini-images of bootable CD with CodeTyphon OS. This very special edition of CT is bound to be fast enough to run on a RPi or on an old PC with Win 2000 & pentiumIV inside.
But not everyone uses "flat" themes. In fact, any GUI (and splash images too) shod somehow "flow alongside" current OS appearance.
That's impossible, but still one should try.
Still, blue is a good choice, 'cause even colorblind people can see it rather well.

As for the second one... Maybe it will look good with some styles, but it's too "vector-ish". Just my opinion.

I'm not saying that your logo are bad or smth like that. Not at all. But if there are changes to be, those should improve things. Your logos, IMO, do not improve look & feel - they're just different.
And it's not about the quality and cleanness of the line, but about the very spirit of CT and the new IDE.
I think that IDE should have smth similar with the design of this very site we're talking at

So, to sum all the above: it's better to leave the logo as it is than making a new unsuited one.
I think that multi-layered splash window with a logo and a name will clearly state that CT is a professional software.
I'm not trying to push my believes here, but smth like this will do:
