Hello,
I just found that a working code with a treenode.makevisible doesn't work any more on CT 4.4 while it worked fine on CT 3.1, is it lazarus svn bug?
I kindly ask why you are using untested packages and sources? (ie: ZeosLib 7.1 (alpha)).
Please find attached a sample project, typing a text won't be located in CT 4.4.
My platform is Windows vista 32.

I downgraded to CT 4.2, All works fine.

Hello, the bug still exists (on Windows and Linux) in CT4.5, while it doesn't neither in Lazarus 1.0.12 nor in Lazarus 1.1.99.0 Alpha pre-release,
