The only thing that stops me to switch to CT at this moment is lack of cross compiling that I have in non CT installation of Lazarus.

I have 4 FPC versions (2 linux versions, and 2 windows cross versions). I also have one Lazarus IDE and 4 LCLs.

I want to accomplish the same with CT.

Making 4 FPC versions is not a problem.

Problem is how to get 4 LCLs with one IDE, since CT version of Lazarus do not have Advanced Build Options.

How to get original Advanced Build Options, like in non CT installation of Lazarus?

I guess it can be done with this menu too, but then I need to change some config files, right?

Suggestions?

Sir
"Advanced Build Options" are old Lazarus procedure
"Build Modes" are the new procedure

Please, don't forget CodeTyphon use always SVN Lazarus version
and we only "ADD" not "CUT" abilities :)

That's great! Please tell me how I can switch (return) to original Lazarus IDE View with speed buttons on the left of the panel and tabs with components right of them. This is only reason why I still use Lazarus IDE instead CT IDE. Thanks!

Rigel, right now there's no such feature. However you're not the first one who were asking for it and I believe that sooner or later PilotLogic crew themselves or someone else would add this feature. Anyway, if you want it right now then just edit IDE sources before installing CT - I believe it's not that difficult. IDE sources is placed at CodeTyphonIns\installbin\bin\mod\lazarus\ide in the main.pp ;)

Sir
with CodeTyphon we want to make the best "working programming Desk"
my programmers use this CT IDE Setup, with codename "BigPro desk"
my suggestion is to "play" with CT IDE futures and find the best
"CT IDE desk" for you.

Sir sternas, sorry for the offtopic, but is it possible to add autohide option to the docked windows? Just like in Delphi Studio?

And, well, speaking of IDE desktop... here's a screenshot. It shows that the word "Find" is clipped in some languages. In russian it reads "Найт" while should be "Найти". And the same may apply for other languages. It's not like this is that important though.
Warning: Spoiler!

Sir sternas, for me the best IDE view and colors are Lazarus and Delphi 7. And I don't understand why CT team don't include option to return to original view more so CT team change this Lazarus IDE view.

I am sure that everyone of us is used in a way of work with his favorite IDE and if that changes then things are difficult for him.

I try to adapt in such situations. I try to use the tool that will get my job done in a better way. That is how i started to use Shortcuts. No kidding. I do not like clickin my way around the desktop instead of focusing in my source code.

The only thing that i might whine about it will be the F12 shortcut. It does get scrambled some times :)

No sense of chewing the same thing. Lazarus has IDE, which I like. I will use it. If the CT team decided to include the possibility of switching the original IDE, I will use it. Unfortunately removing something very good is not good policy. But they decide.

Sir Sternas,
I see separators in IDE speed buttons. How I can edit IDE speed buttons?

Sir,
it's very simple
Replace codetyphon\lazarus\ide\main.pp
with main.pp from codetyphon\bin\src\lazarus_src.zip file
and rebuild Lazarus

Thank you very much, Sir!

I restore the buttons and now is great! There is only one option missing: in Source Editor there is a lines with '+'. With then we can hide and unhide code, they marks where is begin - end of functions and procedures and where is the end of page so I can format code for printing while I write code. How can I restore this option?

There is an error after close IDE: lazarus:Exception EAccessViolation: Access violation.

Now I have to restore Environment menu to be not in Tools, but this is no so bad.
