If i can no more compile my projects with next gen CT because of non-compatibilities issues with files exts or (something else), I will then move back to lazarus, and manually install required packages. BECAUSE I do not want to manage old projects for them to run tomorrow.

Regards

You can transfer old projects to new CT PL said. So when the new CT is really better then Lazarus I will use it.
Lazarus is in my opinion inflexible because they do nothing when it is not like in Delphi.
This is not the best way and really not innovative!

PL in my opinion is on the right way.

Thanks Sir
Until now CodeTyphon (ver 6.00) has a lot of new and "unique" Software Technologies

and we will add more and more in every CT release.

You should read the whole thread ....

You're not alone with your opinion, but they had plans to extend the files also, so the compatibility to lazarus will be lost anyway.
May be it is a great thing - we have to wait.

There is a better way to do this without messing with compatibility: all the extra info could go to new CT specific files. There is nothing lost this way, and the CT team has all the freedom to implement their ideas.
