I noticed that when Abbrevia shows the content of a zip file the views lacks folder and file icons (see attached screenshot).
For the icons in the folder treeview I've found a bugfix which I implemented in AbComCtrls.pas, but unfortunately I haven't been able to solve it for the file listview.
Maybe the PL team can have a look at that annoying bug.
I tried to attach the fixed AbComCtrls.pas here as well but the forum won't accept my attachment, how can I send you the fixed module?
When you got my fix I hope you can update the Abbrevia package with it and hopefully you're able to fix the file listview as well.

Okay.
I tried to attach the pas file directly but that did not work.
Here's the zipped fixed file.

Thanks!
In the screenshot you can see that the folder list has icons after this fix, only the file list is still missing the icons (red arrow).

You mean the Goevier?
I fly her too little as mounting and demounting takes so much time for this oldtimer.
But weekly I still fly Ka-8, LS-4 or Astir.
No place as good as in the air :-)

That's quick!
It works for both the folder tree as for the file list but icons are not very beautiful (native icons would be more elegant).
The file icons all are one and the same no matter what the file extension of the file is, would be nice if this could be filled with the icons that the OS would use for the corresponding files.
For now this fix is workable but I hope you'll continue to try and let Abbrevia use the same icons the OS would use.

That's right, I want the list and the tree to show the icons associated with the file.
See the (Delphi) example in the screenshot, it's the same Abbrevia tree and list and as you can see from the file icons pdf files show the Foxit reader icon and graphics show the IrfanView icon as is set in the Windows file associations.
So in Delphi Abbrevia already follows the file association settings of the OS (Windows in this case).
So the icon setting should be dynamic and follow the file association setting of the OS, that's the idea.
