NO Sir
the procedure is at @rain post

Update works via CodeTyphon Center:
Menu: Actions - Updatemanager
Updatemanager: Menu: Actions - Check for updates - Start Update ...

For some reason CT 4.2 gives me this:
Warning: Spoiler!

I tried googling .
"usr/bin/env: bash ..." error, but that didn't help.
Warning: Spoiler!

Edit: update didn't work for me. Had deleted codetyphon folder from /usr/lib/ and make a clean install. Built just like that: *click!* :)

Sorry, I can't do it, 'cause I've deleted all CT related folders before installing again... :'(
Fresh install did the trick and right now I have rather good connection to download a whole codetyphon.zip so ATM I needn't worry about updates much.

However, I'd like to help CT project.

Without logs all I can say is that:
- CT center is unable to find tty unless I run it as a superuser (sudo/gksu)
- CT cross-element builder fails to build linuxi386-to-LinuxARM because of synaptic package
- In the library tab OpenGL and OpenGLES are listed twice. Once as just *.so library and the next one as *.so.1 library. Not a major issue, I believe ;)
- CT scripts need to use path prefixes for it's executables to fix issues with installed OS-wide executables with the same name
- Proxy support was requested, but I "live" behind a proxy and update manager works both under win and ubuntu.
- GLScene demos are not listed in the "project examples" tool
- Update from CT 4.1 to CT 4.2 under Win XP SP3 (my PC at the job) failed to build Big IDE (Small one has been built, though). For this one I, probably can post my logs.
- Are logs stores somewhere? If not it'll be a nice feature to have. If they are, then where can I find them?

As for updates, the next time CT will be updated (4.3, I suppose, I'll send you my logs if smth will go wrong ;)
