Tried new version CT640 after one year: My last version was CT600.
After updating my project files, everything went smootly. No problem so far.
I have lot of server and GUI applications which I put on my staging environment.
So far, no problem.
Conversion tool had some small problem converting my LProtoLn function (it converts to ProtoLn), but I fixed manually.

I tried new pas2js demos. I'm missing directory with Report files to try report demo. Nice new compiler.

The Standalone-Designer for fpreport is missed again. You find it in fpreport-trunk.

CT 6.40 runs my project fine so far. Great work - thanks!

There are also many new changes and bugfixes in the fpreport-trunk. would be nice to have them in the next lab.

I got an error with ZeosDBO on MySQL in CT6.40 (like also in 6.10 to 6.30) when executing for example:

qryAuftrag.Edit;
qryAuftrag.FieldByName('fk_adresse_auftrag').AsInteger := IDAdresse;
qryAuftrag.FieldByName('fk_kontakt_auftrag').AsInteger := IDKontakt;
qryAuftrag.FieldByName('auf_adresse').AsString := GetAdressBlock(IDAdresse, IDKontakt);
qryAuftrag.FieldByName('auf_matzuschlag').AsString := GetAdressZuschlag(IDAdresse);
qryAuftrag.ApplyUpdates;

The debugger pops up on last line but only shows lines with '...'.
No useful information at this point. An error-message is not shown, the program crashes.

May be it is some sort of collision. On my form there are dbedits containing the above fields. Now I directly change the values of this fields from code.
This is the way it works normally. When I assign the values with 'dbEdit.Text := Value' it gets overwritten by DB-values on focusing the dbEdit.

My solution: When I take Zeos from CT6.00 it works.

Then we test the source
on Windows 32/64, Linux32/64/arm, FreeBSD 32/64, Solaris 32/64 and MacOS 32/64
for Platforms: Windows, GTK2, QT4, QT5, Cocao, etc
