last LAB revision 005850 has many changes...
Embedded Form Designer and Source Editor
are "hosted" now at a TPageControl not a TTabControl like previews revision 005840.

Give us time to test and solve the problem on Ubuntu 16.04 x86-64 xfce

I think, we found the problem

just replace codetyphon/typhon/ide/sourceeditor.pas

with attach file and rebuild Typhon IDE

I tried the patch and visibility of the source editor is restored. A new problem has appeared however. When docking the source editor with glassdocking enabled the ide crashes with a "invalid floating point operation".

We will fix and this...

And the final Fix

replace files in codetyphon/typhon/ide/ folder

I applied the patched files and the editor and ide are working fine now.

Strange thing i run in to now is that 2 of my (under active development) projects no longer work One project gives a linker error without specification, exitcode 256 when compiling for Linux 64 bit but cross compiles to arm (beaglebone black) fine. The other project compiles and links fine for Linux 64 bit but after running sigsev's on updating a tmainmenu...

Compiling a empty new project works fine so i have to investigate further. Both projects compile, link and run fine under CT beta2

we don't use Windows XP in our lab
but
give us time to test in new VM XP installation today after 16:00 UTC

the only solution is to build Typhon Big IDE with "minimum" number of Packages
-From Typhon Small IDE->Package->Install/Unistall Packages
-Import List from C:\codetyphon\typhon\files\pkgsconfxml\bigide_minimum.xml
-Rebuild Typhon IDE

FreePascal (Trunk) in CT 5.90, use a lot of memory to build Big Typhon32

Again, we don't use Win XP in our lab

OK. i will try this solution today. Otherwise i ll go back to CT5.80 or i will use
another machine with win7 or 8. Thanks anyway ....

I recommend you to use win 7 not 8. It's supportet also for the next 5 years and lot more stable
