Hello Sternas.

What do you mean with =>
--05-03-2015 Add ability to build Typhon IDE for "customdrawn and "fpgui" platforms on Windows and solaris

Is it possible to build Typhon with fpGUI widgetset ?

If yes, how did you do to fix TfpgLabel ?

Do you have plan for Linux ?

Thanks.

Sir
The First Step is to give the ability to Codetyphon Studio to Build Typhon IDE for
Customdrawn, fpgui and new QT5 Platforms.
Now this ability is the same for all Host Typhon OSes Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris and MacOS

The second Step
is to fix all problems

On this CT version (5.3) we working on TyphonIDE Platforms (Customdrawn, fpgui and QT5), it's a lot of work....

Screen1: from Windows CT Setup script and CTCenter=>Settings Dialog
it's the same functionality....

Screen2: Kubuntu 15.04 (alpha 2) with KDE plasma 5 (QT5)

Hello Sternas and thanks for answer.
Hum, i have updated last Codetyphon v 5.3.
Everything works fine ;-)

But when i tried to re-compile Typhon IDE with fpGUI widgetset...
It compiles but when trying to run it => I get the typhon splash screen and then => crash.

All is blocked and i have to re-boot (using power button).
I use Linux Mint 64 bit.

?

To build the TyphonIDE for a platform is NOT so simple
we must work on fpGUI platform ( or widgetset)

But you can build applications for fpGUI platform and this is a fact.... :)

Our plan for CT 5.3 is to build TyphonIDE for QT5, with small problems...until now.

We will leave build TyphonIDE for fpGUI and Customdrawn for next CT 5.4,
I don't have programmers for this task now (CT5.3)....

Ok, many thanks to explain.

But, sorry to repeat it... i am not sure that implement LCL-fpGUI widgetset will be useful...
It will ask you lot of work... for something not interesting.
It will be much more interesting to have integration of PURE-fpGUI widgetset.
There is some patch for PURE-fpGUI widgetset Integration into Typhon =>
www.pilotlogic.com/sitejoom/index.php/fo...or-fpgui-integration

I have many doubt how it could be possible to integrate PURE-fpGUI widgetset into LCL-Typhon by a other way.

Hum, Sternas, if you manage to integrate PURE fpGUI widgetset into CT, I will be extremely impressed (and, sure, lot of other people too).

I have already mentioned that point B) ,
Some skin components (like vclskin) would be great.
Thanks, the job is really great.
Cheers for the CT Team.

Sir
we want the same, a "Skinnable" user interface.
All these Delphi Skin Components are for windows only API.

We try to solve this problem, with FpGUI CodeTyphon Platform,
FpGUI platform can be "Skinnable" and work to all OSes.

I think skinable components are cool, too.
Can't wait to see a working version.

But is FpGui not cpu drawn, does it makes not more sense to use for this an hardwareacelorated widgetset,
with OpenGL(ES)/Vulcan or OpenCL in background for the speed point?
Because I have heard that it takes more resources(CPU, RAM, ...) to have themable components instead of not theamble isn't this right?

I just compiled CT with WinXp_32 and use it with Win7_64.
It works without any problems.
I need to investigate the Coolbar in more detail, but it is a good extension.

not sure where to report, here, or on lazarus. i didn't check 5.2 and 5.3 rc, but having problem serious with 5.1

1. Target, SearchPath and CodeGeneration of Item1 gets deleted from lps file when switching to it. I.e. wiping out compile settings for Item1.
2. When in Properties (Object Inspector) Ctrl+V, Ctrl+C etc and sometimes even Backspace will fire on Source Editor instead of Object Inspector itself ruing the code. That's pretty serious since you don't even see it as you have Designer on the screen.

if you use inheritert Form1 from Form2 then Designer does not show the true form.

This problem is all the versions of the CodeTyphon Studio

Good day,
i want report some IDE bugs in CT LAB 5.30:

steps to reproduce

#1: create a new gui application and save work. select the form in designer and open the .lfm file from context menu. close .lfm editor. Thyphon64 will crash immediately, Thyphon32 hangs and finally it crashes too.

#2 create a new gui application and save work. close source editor by clicking 'x' in the left yellow docking area. from windows menu reopen source editor. the designer tab disappears from code editor and never comes back.

Hope you can fix:)
