I made custom settings for php 7.2.15 and when upgrading to php 7.2.16 the folder was completely overwritten, erasing my settings.

I'm doing updates manually because of this now.

Could a way of choosing to preserve the ini files and extra dlls (php extensions) be possible?

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the work of maintaining and improving UWS.

I have suggestions for improvement that I will be putting on another topic.

The new functionality is for new UWS users.
"Update" an element must has and "cleaning" action

Experts like you don't have any problem

All are possible, but give us more info or explain your suggestion.

One possibility could be to rename the previous folder before installing the new one. Example: "php72-backup-001". This would avoid undesired configuration loss and then it would just be a matter of manually copying and pasting information and extensions. What do you think?
